Summer Storm Hardy Hibiscus Plant produces blackish-purple and glorious pink flowers with both the throat and radiating veins a deep, ruby color. It may remind you of the end of that summer storm, as the setting sun shines upon the undersides of the departing storm clouds. Its fall foliage is quite the display too maple-like leaves in shades of gold, bronze, orange and red.

Comment: This arrived as a bare root plant, which I was initially a little nervous about. I got it in the ground 2 days ago, and to my delight, there are already shoots starting to peek out of the ground. So far, so good!
