Our Tiki Torch Echinacea Plant has large, showy flowers that will add a distinctive flair to any area of your yard or garden. Known to attract butterflies, the 4 1/2-inch brilliant, and truly orange petals surround a large reddish-brown cone and give off a somewhat spicy fragrance. This heat resistant Coneflower has excellent color retention, sometimes lasting weeks, and will be a great addition to your cut flower arrangements or to your perennial flower garden!
Echinacea Companion Plants: Achillea, Coreopsis, Delphinium, Geranium, Grasses, Hemerocallis, Monarda, Phlox
Tiki Torch Echinacea Plant Care Instructions: Only water if the plant starts looking droopy. Spent flowers should NOT be trimmed back if you want to attract songbirds as they enjoy the dried seed heads. Cut it back to the ground in late winter or early spring before the new growth starts. Spring is a good time to apply fertilizer for the year.

Comment: Both plants arrived well and securely packaged and in a good healthy condition. One plant even had a flower bud, the other still in early leaf stage. So far both are doing fine in my garden. Too early to speak of blooms yet.

Comment: This IS my all time favorite Echinacea! The flowers are a gorgeous Orange that hold their color for what seems forever. The dark cones accent the Orange petals beautifully and the big Orange flowers against the Dark Green foliage make this plant a must have for anyone who likes coneflowers. You just can't have too many "torches", it's that pretty.
