Tuscan Gold Heliopsis produces yellow flowers, golden centers and matching eyes, and strong stems that will not buckle under adverise weather. It offers more yellow and slightly larger flowers than Tuscan Sun. Tuscan Gold offers disease resistance and a more compact habit. The pollinators will love it in your garden, while you will love them in your vases as cut flowers! Tuscan Gold ships as a bare root. We like growing from bare roots because they establish quickly, become twice the size of a potted plant in the first season, and eliminate the need for plastic pots (a win for the environment).

Tuscan Gold Heliopsis Plant Care Instructions: Keep the plant well-watered for the first 3-4 weeks after transplanting. After that, only water if the plant starts looking droopy. Little to no care is needed once the plant is established. The spent flowers will attract wild birds, so wait till early spring before cutting the dried foliage back to the ground. This is a good time to apply a yearly application of fertilizer.
