Plant Features

Tuscan Sun Heliopsis produces bright golden yellow, daisy-like flowers with an orange center and glossy, dark green foliage. Tuscan Sun offers disease resistance and a more compact habit. You and the pollinators will love nonstop flower power it brings to your garden! Makes an excellent addition to cut flower gardens. Tuscan Sun ships as a bare root. We like growing from bare roots because they establish quickly, become twice the size of a potted plant in the first season, and eliminate the need for plastic pots (a win for the environment).

Heliopsis Companion Plants:Agastache, Columbine, Hardy Geranium, Yarrow

Tuscan Sun Heliopsis Plant Care Instructions: Keep the plant well-watered for the first 3-4 weeks after transplanting. After that, only water if the plant starts looking droopy. Little to no care is needed once the plant is established. The spent flowers will attract wild birds, so wait till early spring before cutting the dried foliage back to the ground. This is a good time to apply a yearly application of fertilizer.
