Comment: I put this fountain grass in the ground and it began to grow immediately. I gave the plant good soil and some water and it took off. I have not been unhappy with any purchase from Grow Joy. Buy with confidence.

Comment: If you like fountain grasses, this is a very easy grass to maintain. I planted it in clay/sand amended with compost, 1-2 months ago. I only kept it moist the first thing since then, I just let nature do the job. This fountain grass is short and has made a nice backdrop for white vincas. The rabbits who voraciously munch in back/front yards leave this alone (they even eat my pink muhlys!) I would buy more of the Hameln Dwarf without hesitation.
