Blackthorne Hemerocallis Daylily is an early midseason bloomer that boasts the ability to survive harsh conditions and weather. The stems hold the 5-inch blossoms atop green foliage. The flower blooms are a very light creamy yellow with a wine purple eye in the center of this masterpiece. Even though it's not considered a rebloomer, this daylily has a second round shortly after the first.
Common Names: day lilies, daylily, day lily
Companion Planting: Crocosmia, Geranium, Grasses, Nepeta
Blackthorne Daylily Plant Care: Besides apply water if the plant starts looking droopy (which is practically never), there is not much else this plant needs. The flower stalks can be cut back after the plant is done blooming for the season. Dividing daylilies is not necessary unless you don't want them spreading. Division can be done in early fall when the foliage is being cut back to the ground.
