Plant Features

Brother Stefan Hosta produces 3-foot wide clumps of thick, heavily-corrugated, golden foliage that is edged with a wide border of medium green. The tall scapes of pure white flowers that bloom in early summer are its crowning glory. Truly one of the most spectacular hostas that we have ever grown! Plantain lilies thrive when grown in moist soils with between 2-5 hours of sun. Plants should be divided every 3-5 years; its best to do so in the fall right before the first frost. Hummingbirds and bees are attracted to it flowers.

Companion Planting: Astilbe, Dicentra, Ferns, Geranium, Grasses, Helleborus, Hemerocallis, Iris
