Carol Hardy Geranium Plant is a shorter, more compact variety, but packs plenty of eye-popping color into its smaller size. The 5-petaled flowers are shades of purple with darker purple fine veins that go all the way to the tip of the lightly frilled edges and pools in the center to form a deep purple eye that creates an illusion of depth. This variety tends to bloom a little earlier than most Cranesbill and thrives best in partial shade.
Companion Planting: Crocosmia, Delphinium, Dicentra, Euphorbia, Geum, Hemerocallis
