Plant Features

Cruizin' Route 66 Coreopsis Plants are colorful beauties that change their wardrobe from spring to fall. The yellow, deeply veined flowers have a vivid red center that bleeds outwards as the seasons progress, changing from being predominantly yellow at first bloom to being almost completely red as fall approaches. You'll love it! Tickseed are easy to grow perennials that tolerate a range of soils, even dry soil in hot sundrenched areas. Once established they are drought tolerant. Butterflies and bees enjoy the nectar while wild birds will eat the seed heads when they are done flowering. Deer and rabbits tend to avoid this plant.

Cruizin Route 66 Coreopsis Plant Care Instructions: Only water if the plant starts looking droopy. The spent flowers should be left on the plant for the Goldfinch and other songbirds. Cut it back to the ground in late winter or early spring before the new growth starts. Spring is a good time to apply fertilizer for the year.

First Time Buyer

I bought a total of 6 various Coreopsis as I couldn't find varieties locally. Was a bit skeptical to order them in early July as my Coreopsis that I have are in full bloom-mode.
