Plant Features

Empress Clematis Plants bear brilliantly pink flowers with a darker pink, radiating band along the midrib. Barely ruffled and barely overlapping, the outer petals can measure up to 6 inches across, while the inner petals resemble a hairy pompom and flaunt various shades of palest green, pale pink and creamy white as the flower ages. Brighten up a fence-row or add color to a non-flowering tree or hedge by allowing Empress to weave throughout the foliage. Empress flowers on both old and new wood. Typically, little pruning should be done except for every three years, then prune back to 16-inches. Clematis require moist soils to grow well. In northern gardens they do best in full sun, but prefer lightly shaded areas in southern gardens.

Clematis

I have ordered several vegetable plants from GrowJoy and have had great success, so I decided to try the Clematis, 5 stars on everything I have bought from them.
