Plant Features

Iris germanica Feedback is a striking blue-violet tall iris that is fragrant and showy. The stalks have many buds and branches, their stems hold up well to inclement weather. The reblooming blossoms have a sweet fragrance, appearing in late spring and again in late summer. Iris plants grow best in sunny locations with well-drained soils. They make spectacular additions to rock gardens and early summer beds and borders. Rhizomes should be divided every 3-4 years. Deer tend to overlook irises.
