Plant Features

The Centaurea Gold Bullion Bachelors Button Plant gets its name from its large, lance-like leaves that range in color from bright chartreuse to a vibrant gold. Known to attract butterflies, the 2 inch basket-shaped, frilly flowers are an eye-pleasing deep periwinkle blue with contrasting centers of dark royal bluish-purple. The combination of gold and blue is perfect along borders, in mass plantings or paired with complementary purple-leaved plants.
