Goldmine Tall Phlox Plant is named for its foliage, not its blossom color, providing season long interest, even when not in bloom. In shaded areas, or even in the shade of the foliage above it, the edges fade to creamy white, being their brightest and boldest gold when in full sunlight. Known to attract butterflies, the overlapping petals form impossibly hot magenta-hued flowers on this tall garden phlox. Showy, to say the least!

Goldmine Tall Phlox Plant Care Instructions: Keep the plant well-watered for the first 3-4 weeks. For continuous flowering keep the soil most, 2-3 inches of mulch will help. Early spring a great time to add fertilizer, another application can be applied in June. Tall phlox should have their tips trimmed back once the stems have grown about 6 inches in early spring. After the first hard frost they can be trimmed back to the ground.
