Plant Features

The Irish Eyes Rudbeckia Plant is perfectly named and guaranteed to make you smile! The huge blossoms measure up to 5-inches across and are similar to an Aster with barely overlapping petals the brightest cheerful-yellow color. Also called Gloriosa Daisies or Black-Eyed Susans, the eyes on these beauties are bright lime green surrounded with a fringe of black, looking remarkably like eyelashes, that further serves to accentuate the green in her eyes! At maturity, Irish Eyes develops a soft pale orange-hued halo on her deeply textured petals. Truly wonderful!

Irish Eyes

When I first got this plant I had it in a container in part sun. It likes full sun & lots of water so I planted it in the ground. The next day the rabbits got it. I'm hoping it comes back, beautiful plant! Grew very fast with lots of blooms. Zone 9
