Karen Sue Hemerocallis Plant is deserving of its name, due to its decidedly feminine appearance. The petals are deeply ruffled and are a dark, rose-pink with a brilliant white midrib. The golden yellow throat shoots sunny rays outwards from its pink eye, covering about 2/3 of the petals. The sepals are smooth and creamy, allowing the petals to shine all on their own. This Daylily's blooms grow to about 5.5-inches in diameter.
