Little Redhead Spigelia is a compact, clump-forming perennial that produce masses of 2-inch, lavender-blue flowers that bloom atop wiry stems which hover over the short mound of ferny basal foliage. It blooms for a long period throughout summer and into fall. With continued deadheading, this cultivar will often bloom through November. The flowers are great for cutting.
