Petite Delight Bee Balm Plants boast fluffy blooms of bright pink that sit atop dark green foliage that is wonderfully aromatic with a mixture of basil and mint tones. This dwarf monarda is wonderfully bushy and also mildew resistant. Beebalm plants flourish on a wide range of soils but do their best with moist, well-drained soil. It is a mid- to late season bloomer for butterfly and hummingbird gardens. Monarda can be planted under black oak trees. Deer and rabbits tend to avoid bee balm.

Monarda Companion Plants: Achillea, Eupatorium, Grasses, Phlox, Salvia

Petite Delight Monarda Care: Plants should be always kept well-watered. The dried flowers produce a fruit that wild birds enjoy, so don’t cut back the plants back to the ground till late winter or early spring. Early spring is also a good time to apply fertilizer for the year.

Monarda—no mildew

Healthy plant with great root structure. Nice for container gardening and attracting pollinators.
