Plant Features

Pink Lightning Agua Plants are low growing and feature soft green foliage with a crinkly texture and white edging, and tall spikes of mauvy-pink flowers. The dense foliage chokes out weeds, tolerates foot traffic and salt. It is best not to mulch these plants. This vigorous ground cover also performs well in tubs or mixed containers. Pink Lighting can be grow in shade, part sun and full sun locations and are tolerant of most moisture-retaining soils. They will grow in full sun in the most northern gardens. Ajuga attracts hummingbirds, butterflies and bees; it tolerates deer and rabbits.

Ajuga Pink Lightning Bugleweed

Lining one corner of a bed with shorter plants, no spikes yet, but soon...nice addition to this corner with variegated foliage and color.
