The Rigoletto Miscanthus (Maiden Grass) Plant offers a more compact habit than some other varieties, but is one of the most striking. From a distance, it can look like very slender waves of grass in shades of silvery-white and pleasing green, but as you draw closer you will find that each of the variegated, arching grass strands are variegated with silver-white and green stripes of various widths that make for an absolutely beautiful display, up close or from across the yard. Its August rose-tinged, buff flower plumes provide even more interest through the colder months.
