Plant Features

With wonderful textures and colors, the Sempervivum Silverine commands a lot of interest for a small succulent. Drought tolerant and easy to grow, this succulent type is also known as 'hens and chicks' as the main plant will produce 'babies' in the form of runners. It produces silver petals and rose-colored edging along with having tightly packed rosette of green that gives way to silver as it matures. Lovely in mass plantings, and absolutely perfect for edging, containers or a rock garden!

Planting Instructions:

  • - Plant in spring or early fall for optimal establishment

Additional Pest Management:

  • - Generally pest-resistant but may attract mealybugs or aphids
