Plant Features

Bandana® Red Lantana Plants have buds that first emerge a deep, chocolaty-red, quickly opening to a "true" red with barely a hint of orange! Bandana Red lantana are heat and drought tolerant, low-maintenance plants that are constantly covered in color that attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. They grow well in flower beds, patio planters, coastal gardens, rock gardens, xeriscapes, and rooftop gardens. Plants are not pet friendly.

Lantana Companion Plants: Angelonia, Begonia, Gaillardia, Pentas, Salvia

Bandana Red Lantana Plant Care Instructions: Keep the plant well-watered for the first 4-5 weeks. Comment: Lantana plants arrive healthy, but are small. You never know which ones grow large. I had one in a pot grow over 6 feet tall in a whiskey barrel. I had to stake it up. The hummingbirds loved it all summer. All of Growjoy’s flowers are healthy and bloom profusely. Lots better prices than local nurseries and big box stores like Walmart and Lowe’s.
