Sunny Igloo Mum Plant

Sunny Igloo mum is a mounding perennial that completely covers itself in bright double blossoms featuring sunshine yellow ray petals and caramel-gold centers. These mums have a long bloom time from late summer through fall and attract butterflies. They bloom from early fall until frost and do not need pinching. The mums have a domed habit with a height of up to 2 feet and a width of 2.5 feet and are winter hardy down to zone 5.

Sunny Igloo Perennial Mum Plant Care Instructions: Keep plants moist and well feed. A weekly application of a water soluble fertilizer works best. Snip off any flowers that start blooming early. When the flowers start showing color in the fall, stop fertilizing. Continue to keep the plants moist. After the first hard frost, the plant can be cut back to the ground. A heavy application of mulch is beneficial.
