Plant Features

Viticella Venosa Violacea Clematis Plants bring large, striking dark purple blooms with white striping in the center. This rambling vine is perfect for twining in and around your perennial garden, trellis arch, pergola or entryway. These clematis are fairly heat and drought tolerant. In northern gardens, it will do best in full sun but prefer lightly shaded areas in southern gardens. Prune it back to 16-inches in later winter.
