The smoky-green, grassy, compact mound of foliage is the perfect base for the distinctive red blossoms rising above it. If red is your color, you'll be passionate about this one! Dianthus thrive in sunny locations with well-drained soils. Light afternoon shade can be helpful in the very southern gardens. Drought tolerant once established, they are perfect for balconies, rock gardens and gardens with sandy soil. Butterflies are attracted to these plants.

Pretty , Scented Flower

Love to have a beautiful flower that has a nice scent. Nice size plant i got that had buds, one of which open.. A gem that doesn't take up much space. Love your plants !!

Wonderful Scent First Dianthus
