Sprengeri Asparagus Fern Plants produce delicate looking stems that cascade downward, making it ideal for hanging baskets and container gardening. It is mainly grown as a houseplant or as an ornamental outside in northern gardens. Outdoors Sprengeri performs best when planted in partial shade. Long, direct exposure to the sun will often result in its needle-like Leaves turning yellowy-green, as will overwatering. If you are planning to grow this plant inside your house, then you can place it near a window, so that it can get bright, but filtered sunlight. The soil should be allowed to slightly dry before watering. Pet owners should take caution as it can cause stomach pain, vomiting, and diarrhea.
